ABOUT US

ABOUT

Jennifer is a proud mother of two grown sons, 6 dogs, 1 cat, and her 1st Dexter heifer (who is expecting in late February/March 2023).

Although she no longer rides, Jen was an avid horseback rider.

Jen is a lifetime member of the Mathews Vol. Rescue Squad, Mathews, Virginia. Although no longer running / retired, she was a Virginia State Certified EMT-Intermediate (formally known as a "Cardiac Technician") and taught Emergency Medical Skills at our local community college.

EXPERIENCE

With approximately fifty years (50) years of animal husbandry experience, Jennifer has about twenty-six (26) of those years being with canines. In the past, she bred both AKC Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and AKC Labrador Retrievers.

Since 2015, Jennifer's sole focus has been on the Aussiedoodle breed. She does not work with any other variation of "doodles" (i.e. - Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, Bernadoodle and so forth).

Of the four Aussiedoodle sizes (Toy, Mini, Moyen, and Standard), Jennifer's attention & heart are with the "Mini" and "Moyen" sizes.

Jennifer's husband, David, supports her puppy efforts by assisting with the pups, monitoring Emma Hope's Aussiedoodle Facebook page (and Emma Hope's POW WOW page), and updating & monitoring the Emma Hope's Aussiedoodle website.

EMMA HOPE

Emma Hope (as seen below with Jennifer in the Fall of 2015) is our first Aussiedoodle. And, as you may have guessed, "Emma" is the matriarch of Emma Hope's Aussiedoodles.

"Emma" earned her Certification as a "Certified Therapy Dog" (thru Therapy Dog International) the day she turned 1 year old.

As a Therapy Team, Emma Hope and Jennifer support those in treatment at our local Cancer Center.
